Sometimes the stuff of our world is too much to take in when it’s in full scale. I started taking pictures to claim the time and space to fully comprehend what I was seeing, and later, to compel the memory of what it felt like to stand in its presence.

I hope you find that what caught my eye is interesting to you, too. I have included a few favorites in the subject-matter categories with larger selections housed in the categories dedicated to the locations where they were taken, such as states; national parks, monuments, or forests; or iconic scenic routes (e.g., the Great River Road).

I am working on enabling the purchase of print products directly from this site and appreciate your patience with my coding illiteracy. In the meantime, please contact me if you see something you’d like to have in your own space (I’m partial to canvas prints); see the Thoughts section for more information. If you are interested in photo greeting cards, please visit my Etsy store to view the selection of card sets in stock and ready to ship. Simply click on the link at the bottom of any page or visit my Contact page. I also welcome feedback on images, site format, desired additions or deductions, or any other thoughts, though I do ask that you please be constructive, and kind (even if critical, which I also welcome).
